Genelec and AMX announce Smart IP integration via new AMX MUSE driver
The Smart IP driver for AMX MUSE allows precise control of essential audio functions, including power management, volume control and mute, and enables automatic discovery of loudspeakers on the network. Individual loudspeakers can be controlled directly, making deployment across complex installations straightforward and efficient.
Beyond simplifying setup and configuration, the driver enables real-time monitoring of loudspeaker status – providing critical information such as volume, input level and more. Custom acoustic profiles can be loaded remotely to ensure optimal audio performance in any environment, from corporate spaces to hospitality venues.
For easy troubleshooting, the driver delivers full feedback of network details, including Dante, IP and MAC addresses, host names and firmware versions.
