Genelec immersive experience impresses at Paris Audio Video Show 2026
Demand for places in our listening room was so high that every session reached capacity, with attendees experiencing first-hand the power of truthful sound reproduction across both stereo and immersive formats. The enthusiasm shown by visitors was a clear reminder that music lovers, home cinema enthusiasts and audio professionals continue to value accuracy, transparency and emotional connection in sound reproduction.
This year's show was especially memorable, as Genelec received the prestigious “Meilleure expérience immersive” (Best Immersive Experience) award – given in recognition of the exceptional listening experience delivered in our demonstration room.
For the Paris show, Genelec assembled a carefully calibrated system featuring the flagship full-range 8380A, loudspeakers from The Ones family, and the 7370A subwoofer – all fully optimised for the room with our GLM™ calibration software.
Visitors were able to experience the precision and detail of Genelec audio monitoring – from pure stereo playback to fully immersive audio content. The demonstrations highlighted how Genelec's active loudspeaker technology, intelligent room adaption and decades of acoustic expertise work together to deliver a listening experience that remains faithful to the original creative intent.
